The Joint Committee on Human Rights (JCHR) can make a number of recommendations to Parliament about a treaty subject to the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010 including, but not limited to, that the treaty should not be ratified, that debates should be scheduled in both Houses or that the objection period should be extended.
